In the previous quarter, the tax revenue recorded was equal to 130 million euros, then rose to 168 million euros in the first quarter of 2022.
In Holland, the regulated market did not exist before October 1, 2021, even if the Dutch could (illegally) gamble online at various large providers. The big difference was that none of the cups were risky, no matter how much they bet.
The legalization of the Dutch market has therefore ensured that the Dutch state could impose taxes on gambling imports. The 168 million recorded includes the tax on the activities of the Holland Casino subsidiaries, but also on the sale of slot machine games.
