JAMMA uses non-personalized Google AdSense ads. Non-personalized ads (ANP) are ads not based on the user’s past behavior. Their target is defined based on contextual information, including approximate geographic data (e.g. city level) based on the user’s current position, the current content of the site or app, or the current query term. Google does not allow personalized targeting, including demographic targeting and targeting by user list.
Although non-customized ads do not use cookies or mobile device identifiers for targeting, they use them to define quota limits, generate aggregate reports on ads and check fraudulent activity and illegal use. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain consent to the use of cookies or ad identifiers for mobile devices for this purpose, where required by law, as defined by the e-Privacy Directive in some countries of the European Economic Area (SEE).
