Kelowna man pulls $1M from a casino slot machine | News

A Kelowna man beat the odds when he won more than $1 million on a slot machine at Playtime Casino Kelowna. Joshua Alexander was just 20 minutes into his night of gaming when he placed a $5.25 wager on a Powerbucks slot machine. He was rewarded with a payout of $1,032,361.83.

Some of the winnings will go towards vacations in Mexico, Australia, and California, Alexander says.

The odds of a Powerbucks jackpot of at least $1 million on a $3.25 wager are approximately one in 25 million, the BCLC says.
